The 5th Quarter is a drug-free event for Swanton high school students. October 1, 2010 was the first ever 5th Quarter. The high school was filled with over 250 students after the Homecoming football game. SACC had bought 350 Double Cheese Burgers from McDonalds and the kids went crazy! The second 5th Quarter was October 22, 2010. There was around 150 students in attendance. Swanton Parents Club had donated money towards 5th Quarter, this allowed SACC to buy 350 Soft Taco's from Taco Bell. 5th Quarter will continue to be around during the Winter Sports, therefore if you or someone you know is willing to volunteer or donate please call the office at (419) 826-1222 or email Ashley Remer at Ashley@swantoncoalition.org.
